Cape Town and the Kruger National Park

 This tour kicks off in Cape Town, giving you a few days to savour the sights and sounds of South Africa's Mother City. You’ll then fly to South Africa’s premier safari destination – the greater Kruger National Park.  Lion Sands is located in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve which borders the Kruger National Park.

Day 1-4: Cape Cadogan, Cape Town (3 Nights)

On arrival in Cape Town a representative will meet you and transfer you by road to the Cape Cadogan in the heart of Cape Town’s City Bowl. This exclusive guesthouse is well located just off trendy Kloof Street, with many restaurants and bars in walking distance, and a short ride from the V&A Waterfront, the beautiful beaches of Clifton and of course Table Mountain! Included in this itinerary are your airport transfers as well as two full day tours. The first is an expedition around the Cape Peninsula which will take you as far as Cape Point to see the penguins. A usual day on safari consists of an early morning wake-up call followed by a morning game drive after which you’ll return to the lodge for a well earned breakfast. Then you can relax by the pool or go on a bush walk with an expert ranger. Save room for lunch and afternoon tea before your second game drive of the day. The game drive continues into the evening by use of powerful spotlights. You return to the lodge to freshen up before dinner, which on a nice evening will be served outside under the stars!

Upon arrival in Livingstone on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls, you will be met by a representative and driven to Royal Chundu Zambezi River Lodge which is about a 45 minute drive from the Falls themselves. There are numerous activities at the lodge to enjoy. You can choose between (or pick them all) a tour of the great Victoria Falls, a sunset and sunrise cruise, fishing, canoeing, bird watching, a village tour and bush walk. There are several more that the lodge managers can help you organise, from helicopter rides to white water rafting.
