Incredible Leopard Sighting!

Our guests saw some incredible sightings during the past week on their game drives. These included the Wild dogs who were found on several Impala kills, the Southern Pride (Lions) stalking Kudu as well as a fantastic sighting of two Honey Badgers on the move. However, the guests agree that the sighting of the week goes to a that of a female Leopard in a Jackalberry tree.Whilst on game drive driving down Marula Road in the North-Eastern corner of the Reserve, one of our game rangers, Hali Mnisi’s eye caught the familiar cat-like shape draped over the branches of a large Jackalberry Tree.

This female leopard is known as the Warthog Wallow female.  She is a very relaxed female leopard known to frequent this area.

All of our guests staying at the lodge were fortunate enough to view the leopard and got some fantastic photographs as a magnificent momento of this once in a lifetime opportunity.
