Follow the Southern Lion Pride as they try to break-up a Cape Buffalo Herd, with their eyes on a young calf!

This incredible sequence of photographs was captured by our Lion Sands head ranger, Allan Ronchini.

The Buffalo herd were successful in staying together and protecting the young calf. The Lions, with their pride a bit bruised, rested a while before setting out on their next kill.
